Central Hawke's Bay District Libraries provide free computing and Internet access via the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa (APNK).
Free wifi access is also available at both the Waipawa Library and the Knowledge & Learning Hub - Te Huinga Wai, Waipukurau.
We use APNK Chromebook computers, which are installed with Chrome internet browser and Google Docs.
Each Chromebook has a USB port, Micro SD card slot, and a built-in webcam. We no longer supply headsets but you are welcome to bring your own.
Use of the computers is on a first come, first served basis. A limit of 30 minutes applies during busy times.
You will need to log on with your library membership number or we can issue visitors with a guest pass on sight of ID.
