SMS Notifications Now Available

Central Hawke's Bay Libraries have released text notifications for both pre-overdues and overdue notices. 

The text message you receive will let you know that either your books are due back in a few days time or that your books are now overdue.

Currently overdue notices are sent by either email or by post.

If you would like to chose text reminders then please either call us on 06 857 8123, pop in and see us or this can be done online via or chblibrary.nz website.  

Please follow the instructions below to change your preferences online.

Setting up SMS Notifications.

First head to to https://www.chblibrary.nz/ and select the 'My Account' tab. 

You will be redirected to our catalogue page where you will need to select 'My Account' once more on the top right of the screen. 

Enter in your library card membership number and your pin number to access your account. 

This will bring up your account and show details such as 'Checkouts', 'Holds' and 'Personal Information'. 

Click on the 'Personal Information' tab and select 'SMS Notifications' from here click on 'Add SMS Notifications' this will then ask you to enter your cell phone number and a label, check the box 'Overdue Notices' and save.
