Do you need help from a Justice of the Peace? 

Local JPs are currently available at; Waipawa Library Friday's 12pm - 1pm.

Our JP Service for 2021 will start back on Friday 12th February.

How can a Justice of the Peace Help you?

  • Witness signatures on documents
  • Certify copies of documents (including email attachments and phone messages)
  • Take oaths, declarations, affidavits or affirmations
  • Confirm identity

Having a JP helping you is entirely free of charge. Justices are statutory appointees who receive no payment for their services to the community.  If you are not sure whether a JP can help you, just ask.
