Celebrate Summer Reading


CHB Libraries Summer Reading Programme for Children aged 2-11 is being held from 7th December 2020 to 15th January 2021.

Register at either;

Registrations start Monday November 23rd 2020. 

Once you have registered

You can...

  • Read on your own
  • 'Read with me' (For those not yet reading on their own)
  • Family reading

The Programme recognises the importance of reading together at home each day. Other family members, relatives or friends can assist with reading times. 1LoveYour Library


Check-in to the Library:

  • Bring the books you have read to the check-in session.  You can have fun telling us about your books.
  • Each time you check-in you will receive a gift and a sticker for your folder.  You need four stickers to qualify for the finale celebration.       
  • There are bonus gifts after 4 check-ins.
  • You may check-in twice each week.
  • Record your books in your folder before you go to the Library.
