Virtual Kids Coding Challenge

Registrations are now open for our new Virtual ‘Kids Coding Challenge’.

You’ll learn how to use JavaScript to create your own coding project, earning points and badges as you go. Lessons are self-paced, slowly building your programming knowledge with 35 challenges and 9 projects to complete.

Designed for kids in Years 4-8, the challenge will be run through an online classroom within the Khan Academy, and every fortnight we’ll have a virtual group meeting to discuss the challenge and chat about how you’re all going. These meetings will be hosted through Zoom and are optional, but are a good way for the kids to problem solve as a group in a moderated setting.

A note for those who have previously participated in our Coding Classes – you’re welcome to join us! This is all-new content, so while some parts will be similar, you won’t be repeating lessons you’ve already done.

Registrations are limited, so sign up now!
